I have had my collar on every day this week. I really like it. It’s so much lighter than the Eternity collar. I will definitely be able to wear a collar all the time now. I’ll take some pics this afternoon and post them.

I did realized that I don’t really have set rules. I just go by what I feel and know is the right way to act around Sir. I guess that’s what happens when you have been together for so long. You just know what you should and shouldn’t do. I did have rules when we first started D/s.

I talked with Sir about it last night and he thinks that I should have a set of simple rules to follow and that they should be written down since I seem to forget at times. I’m hoping that we can get them done this weekend. He has also agreed to not enforce anything until my new collar arrives. Once it is around my neck I am to be sub 24/7 again. I finished Fifty Shades of Grey last night. It was interesting. Not what I excepted for an ending. Now I have no choice, I need to read the next book.

The story kind of reminded me of how Sir and I started with BDSM. It was slow and a bit of a confusing start. I had been in a few dominating relationships before Sir, but it was never the type I really wanted. Sir is what some people would call a gentle Dom. He is soft spoken and very caring and attentive to my needs. He is always making sure that I am enjoying everything he does to me. When we are in public most people think we are an ordinary couple. What they don’t see is the looks that are exchanged between us. I know when I have done something wrong or when I need his permission. I just have to look at him and his face will let me know the answer. After so many years together, you learn how to read each other. The best part, knowing that I will be his sub forever. I know that sounds a bit silly especially these days with so many people getting divorced after a few years. But I know that we will last. I don’t want to have any other man in my life. Off to read the next book… Fifty Shades Darker

Sir wasn’t enforcing the rules as much and so I became “lazy”. We became Vanilla. Shocking, I know. Plus not wearing my collar has a huge effect on me. Having my collar on, calms me into submission. Without it, I become the vanilla me. I also try to dominate every thing. And that gets me in trouble, a lot.

We are getting back to where we were before I got so sick. It’s a slow process.  I think by summer time I will be back to being a full-time sub again. There are just some things in life that have to be dealt with and for those things we have to be ordinary vanilla people. It would be great if people would be understanding of our D/s relationship, but most people, especially family, wouldn’t understand. Most likely the family would think we have joined some satanic cult and the vanilla friends would probably never call again, in fear of us converting them into sex fiends. It’s the way the world thinks and there is nothing that will change that.

So be it! I am happy with my choice. I love submitting to Sir. Some day we will openly display our D/s life, (Which we do when we are outside of out town) but for now we will keep to  a select few that we know are like us too. Plus I have all of you people who I can talk to about all of this stuff.
